Team India, which came out to chase the target of 265 runs for victory, did not have a good start, but Virat and Iyer shared a 94-run partnership to prepare the platform for Team India's victory. 

For India, Virat Kohli scored 84 runs in 98 balls with the help of 5 fours, while Shreyas Iyer scored 45 runs. Apart from this, KL Rahul scored an unbeaten 42, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya contributed 28-28 runs. Virat Kohli was given the Man of the Match award for his innings. India will now face the winner of the semi-final between New Zealand and South Africa in the final. This match will be played on March 9.

Earlier, the Australian team, who won the toss and batted first, scored 264 runs. Steve Smith and Alex Carey have played half-century innings for Australia in the semi-finals. Steve Smith played an innings of 73 runs, while Carey scored 61 runs. At the same time, Travis Head scored 39 and Labuschagne scored 29 runs. For India, Mohammed Shami took three wickets, while Varun Chakraborty and Ravindra Jadeja took two wickets each.
